Terms of Service

SFM is a personal-finance tool that runs on your phone. It connects to your bank through Tink AB (a Visa company) so you can see your accounts and transactions in one place, and it computes recurring payments, income streams, expense profiles, and a 30-day balance forecast locally on your device.

The app is provided by Béla Hajzer, Hungary. Contact: support@finance.appointer.hu.

• Not financial advice. The forecasts, categorisations, and detected patterns are heuristics. They can be wrong. Do not make investment, lending, or tax decisions based solely on what the app shows you.
• Not a bank. SFM does not hold funds, move money, or process payments.
• Not a bookkeeping or tax-compliance product. It is a personal overview tool.
• Not a substitute for your bank's records. If our numbers disagree with your bank's, trust your bank.

• Keep your device secure. The app's security depends on the device lock screen and the OS-provided secure store.
• Keep your backup passphrase safe. We cannot recover it. If you lose it, encrypted exports made with that passphrase cannot be restored.
• Use the app only for your own personal finance data. Connecting accounts that belong to someone else without their authorisation is your responsibility, not ours.
• Comply with the terms of your bank and of Tink AB (https://tink.com/legal/) regarding access to your accounts.

Don't try to:

• reverse-engineer or tamper with the app or the bridge for purposes other than security research disclosed in good faith to support@finance.appointer.hu;
• abuse the OAuth bridge in ways that exceed reasonable personal use (the bridge is rate-limited at the platform level);
• use the app to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or unauthorised access to anyone's bank account.

• Tink AB provides the bank-aggregation layer. Its terms and privacy policy apply when you connect a bank.
• Frankfurter provides exchange-rate data. The app reads only currency-code-keyed snapshots; no personal data is sent.
• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the bridge infrastructure.
• Apple App Store / Google Play distribute the app under their respective terms.

We are not responsible for outages, data accuracy, or policy changes at these third parties. If Tink suspends an integration or a bank changes its OAuth flow, parts of the app may stop working until we ship an update.

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that detected categories or forecasts will be accurate, or that bank connections will remain available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied with the app is to stop using it and uninstall it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will the operator be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, or any other intangible loss arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

The operator's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these terms or the app will not exceed €50, or the amount you have paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for the avoidance of doubt, is currently zero), whichever is greater.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including, where applicable, mandatory consumer protections under EU law).

The app does not collect data about you. See the Privacy Policy for the full description.

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the app, the bridge, or any feature at any time. Because we hold no data about you, termination is not a process that requires our involvement.

We may update these terms when the app changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. Material changes will be surfaced in-app on first launch of the affected version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved by direct contact will be submitted to the competent courts of Hungary. EU consumers retain any mandatory protections of their country of residence.
